QMDJ focuses on both good and bad luck with respect to space and time. Its translation to English would be "Mysterious Gate". The original use of Qi Men Dun Jia was in military applications prior to the Tang Dynasty. It is alluded to in such classic Chinese literary works as, "The Three Kingdoms" and, "The Art of War". So coveted and yet top-secret was the knowledge of Qi Men Dun Jia many counterfeit methods were invented to hide the true method.

This course will teach participants about the basic mechanics of QMDJ including all the parts of a ju and how to plot a chart. Further, the course will teach participants how to interpret charts for the purpose of divination. In addition, we will be giving students knowledge on how to use QMDJ for date selection. Using QMDJ date selection, we can capture the best energy in order to help achieve our desired goals. In the past, the predominant use for QMDJ was military or government related however there are many ways to apply the same techniques to modern life. From getting a business negotiation to go your way, to helping a student pass an important exam, to improving one's health, QMDJ provides a wide scope of application for both practitioners and hobbyist.
