San Sha

San Sha is determined by the annual year branch.

• Shen (Monkey), Zi (Rat) and Zhen (Dragon) years'San Sha will be in the South
• Yin (Tiger), Wu (Horse) and Xu (Dog) years'San Sha will be in the North
• Si (Snake), You (Rooster) and Zhou (Ox) years'San Sha will be in the East
• Hai (Pig), Mao (Rabbit) and Wei (Sheep) years'San Sha will be in the West

San Sha means Chieh Sha, Joi Sha and Sui Sha.

• South - Si (Chieh Sha), Wu (Joi Sha) and Wei (Sui Sha)
• North - Hai (Chieh Sha), Zi (Joi Sha) and Zhou (Sui Sha)
• East - Yin (Chieh Sha), Mao (Joi Sha) and Zhen (Sui Sha)
• West - Shen (Chieh Sha), You (Joi Sha) and Xu (Sui Sha)

If the three killings are disturbed, the following might happen:

• Chieh Sha - theft, loss of money, health problems associated with stomach, throat, ear, waist or legs or may cause damage to people
• Joi Sha - loss of money and possessions, depression, lawsuits, jail term or may cause damage to people
• Sui Sha - lawsuits, illness, natural disaster or may cause damage to young children and pets

Under normal circumstances, it's advised not to use or remodel this part of the house. However, whether it can be used will be based on the element of the annual year branch and the San Sha direction.

If the element of the San Sha is controlling the annual year branch, any disturbance should be avoided. For example, Yin/Wu/Xu year (fire element) with San Sha in North (water element), water is controlling fire.

If the element of the annual year branch is controlling the San Sha, the San Sha direction might not give you much trouble. For example, Si/You/Zhou year (metal element) with San Sha in East (wood element), metal is controlling wood.

There can be a few ways to deal with San Sha:

• You can use a pair of Ki Lun (Chinese unicorn), put the ki lun inside the house's san sha position with the heads facing outward, towards the San Sha direction. You can use red ki lun in 2003 for this purpose
• You can also put a pail of water in the San Sha position in the house, then put a plant in front of the water
• You can also use Toaist san sha tallismanic writing, and put it in the san sha location

You can also use FS techniques to fight with San Sha to bring in money, this technique will require knowledge in day selection. Different schools will use different day selection methods.

If you don't have enough knowledge or FS training, don't ever try it!
