Evil Spirit

There can be different takes on this; some people say it's an evil spirit that gets into a person.

From medical TCM pathology, it is a liver/stomach problem or heart/kidney problem. If we are researching from a 4P perspective, Wood, Earth should be the vital elements we look at. If we can get a hold of records from mental health care professionals, we maybe able to do further research on this.

From the Form School angle, I would look up at the ceilings above the head of the bed for low, slanted ceilings, too bright or too dark ceilings, coffin ceilings, children bunk bed and exposed beams. I would avoid having these above my bed.

I would look at the bed as well; a lot of people place their beds at an angle because of the favorable direction theory they have learned in 8 House. I would rather see the headboard solidly against a solid wall and away from any electrical sockets. I have seen cases where the headboard is nowhere near a solid wall and the occupant of the bed has had troubled sleep.

I would also look under the bed to see what is underneath it. You can store soft materials like clothing, but avoid putting any mirrors under a bed, or any picture or object that's associated with movement.

Outside of the house, I would check the SE to see if any sha chi coming from that direction, especially linked triangular shaped objects.

From Flying Stars, I would pay attention to the number "4", such as 3/4 or 4/8 combinations. Sometimes you can look at 5/9 or 2/7/4/9 combination.

From 8 House, I would look into "Men Chu - Liu Sha" for mental instability.

From face reading, I would pay attention to the eyes and face shape.

From palm reading, I would look for little red/white dotted palm (liver palm), boney hands/fingers especially the outer edge of the thumb, or the head line sloping downward toward the Qian palace (the opposite side of the thumb).
